The resources on the Mensa for Kids website are all free and updated regularly, and are available to any teacher, parent, or student. These resources promote literacy and diversity in the classroom, while also encouraging your child to develop their own unique perspective. In addition to offering free resources, these materials also encourage kids to participate in the year-round Book Challenge, which aims to increase their knowledge of literature.
Children can also participate in the Mensa for Kids excellence in reading program, which offers four reading lists grouped by grade level. Once a child has completed a segment list, he or she can rate the books and receive a certificate or a Mensa for Kids t-shirt.
Easy Peasy
Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool is a Christian program designed to make homeschooling easy. It offers a totally free online homeschooling curriculum and includes Facebook and troubleshooting support. Parents can choose to use the curriculum for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. The program uses some Charlotte Mason methods and incorporates picture studies, real books, and copy work. It also provides a variety of online courses for the subjects it covers.

Another free homeschool program is Under the Home. Under the Home provides a complete curriculum for grades kindergarten through five. It is based on the Charlotte Mason approach to education, which uses literature and “living books” to education children, along with an emphasis on nature study and the arts.
The Under the Home website provides a more traditional approach with online curriculum for all subjects. It was developed by a mother who is also a scientist and educator. She designed the program for her own children but placed it online for other families to use as well.
Under the Home requires no textbooks other than the ones provided at no cost online. You provide normal school supplies for your child, and only need to print out any desired coloring or copywork pages. There is no specific religious viewpoint presented.
